查莫罗人的故事

In the beginning, 
within the mind of the Most High,
all things were combined as one. 
Infinite and limitless. 
Make the girl the first daughter. 
Make the man the first son. 
Now bring them together and 
create all of the people. 
From my chest create the sky. 
From my back create the land. 
From my eyes create the sun and 
the moon. And suspend them 
above the people of the land. 
The first people! 
The Matao!

起初，在至高者的思想里，所有事物都结合为一。无穷无尽。让女孩成为第一个女儿，让男孩成为第一个儿子。现在让他俩结合，从而创造所有的子民。我的胸膛造出天空，我们后背造出大地，我的眼睛造出太阳和月亮。把人们悬于大地。第一个子民！就是玛淘！大海的子民！淘淘塔西。

We stand over all of 
the old bones. And we praise the 
Matao, the first people – who 
arrived on the first sailing canoes. 
We praise all of our elders. And 
we praise all of the old bones.

Our journey beings on 
the island of Guahan (Guam) 
and continues to the islands of 
Tahiti, Samoa and Hawaii.
But the birth of these Pacific 
islands began 4,000 years ago, 
with the first children of the 
Pacific, the Chamorro people. 
Here on Guam. The first great
navigators.
This is their story.

People of the Sea. We Are One. Together with our hearts. As we journey towards
the sun. Sacred souls. Guide us Home.

Stars will light the way through every day. A new sun warms the day as the
ocean sways. Ancient souls. Show the way.

People of the Sea. We Are One. Life is how we life. Love is how we grow.

Sacred souls. Guide us home. People of the Sea.
Life begins to change. Love remains. The journey of our hearts knows no age.

大海的子民。我们是一家人。用心在一起。我们的旅程驶向太阳，引领回家的路。

星空点亮每天的道路。初升的太阳温暖着每一天，大海似摇篮。古老的灵魂指引道路。
